Things I Learned at CVS

I learned two three very valuable things yesterday while shopping at CVS.

#1. If you need a certain amount of an item and it's not on the shelf, you can ask an employee - they have these inventory guns that they can use to scan 1 of the items to see how many of the same item are in the back; that way you don't need to wander aimlessly, hoping to find more of your product on an end cap.

#2. CVS's rainchecks NEVER EXPIRE!! Wohoo!

#3. When you are getting a raincheck for an item, and part of the sale included ECB, you can actually have the raincheck include the ECB code you would have gotten.
For example, I tried to cash in on the Axe, buy 3 and get $5 in ECB back. I wanted a specific Axe gel (the red kind), but they only had 1 in the store - they were on sale for 2/$9. I ended up buying that 1 that was in the store, but then got a raincheck for 3 more and on the raincheck, the cashier included the code so when I go back, I can get each Axe gel for $4.50 and I can get $5 back in ECB when I buy 3!

Yay CVS!

Happy Couponing!
