CVS Matchups - Week of 9/4

I somehow managed to do a quick CVS run, use only $1 in my earned ECB, plus a bunch of coupons and spent only $.71 plus $.04 in tax for a bunch of stuff.

Here are some of the more fantastic deals this week. Some stuff you may think you don't need, but if it's free or near free, I usually get it if I'm at the store anyway. This way, when I do need it, I have it and don't need to pay full price OR I find someone who can use it (or donate it!).

Carefree Body Shape pantiliners 20-22ct — $1.00

ECB: $1 wyb 1 (limit 1)
Use $.50/1 from 8/21 SS or printable
Pay $.50, get back $1 ECB = $.50 MONEYMAKER

Hershey's Air Delight Bar 1.44oz — $0.99
ECB: $.99 wyb 1 (limit 1)
Buy 2 and se FREE Hershey's Air Delight aerated milk chocolate bar wyb any regular milk chocolate bar from 8/28 SS
Pay $.99, get back $.99 ECB = FREE

Dove, Yardley, Lever single bars or Ivory 3 bar packs — $0.99
Use $.35/1 from 8/28 P&G (exp 9/30)
= $.64 each

Spend $15 in Dove, Yardley or Lever products, get $5 ECB
I believe that CVS tracks your spendings over the course of the week on a particular ECB deal, so you can split your purchases into separate transactions. The P&G coupons state 4 per transaction, so you could buy 4 3-packs each time you go until you've accumulated $15 worth of product (Sometimes CVS will track your spending BEFORE the coupons!) and you'll get $5 ECB!

Keebler Granola Fudge Bars or Kellogg's Fiber Plus Bars - 2/$5
ECB: $2 wyb 2 (limit 1)
Buy 2 and use Use (2) $.75/1 from 7/10 RP (exp 9/4) or printable
Pay $3.50, get back $2 ECB = $0.75 each

Suave deodorant invisible solid 1.4oz — $0.99
Use $1/1 from 7/24 SS (exp 9/10)
=FREE

Colgate Optic White toothpaste 4oz or toothbrush 1ct — $3.49
ECB: $1.50 wyb 1 (limit 2)
Use $1/1; $.50/1; $.40/1 from 8/28 SS
Pay as low as $.2.49, get back $1.50 ECB =$.99

Flash your CVS card through the magic red machine to see what coupons you get. I got a coupon for FREE Dove or Milky Way single bar. Last week, I got $2 off any cold or flu relief product. I found Cold Ease on 75% off clearance ($1.99) so I got it for free! I probably won't use it, so it'll go in the box to be donated.

Also important, if you live in Massachusetts, MOST stores charge you tax AFTER your coupons. I live in Mass, but on the MA/RI border. I try to do all my taxable shopping in Mass. so I can get the post-coupon tax break! :-)

Happy Couponing!
