My husband, Jon, and I got into an argument a discussion about my alleged hoarding of food. Both of my parents have serious hoarding tendencies and I know I and tend to keep more than I should, but I feel like I simply make sure we have enough food in the house so no one is ever hungry.
Regardless, as a result of our discussion, Jon is now responsible for 100% of the grocery shopping and menu planning for the month of October. His goal is to use up everything in our upstairs freezer and start working on the downstairs freezer. So all of the menu items are his doing.... we'll see if he goes beyond the menu planning and actually cooks.
Sunday - Family Dinner; we're contributing Mrs. Smith's apple pie.
Monday - Chicken and steak burritors with rice leftover from last week
Tuesday - Pizza with any leftover steak and chicken from Monday
Wednesday - BLTs with loaded potato skins
Thursday - We have a wedding rehearsal and dinner, so they'll be providing food
Friday - Jon's best friend's wedding! Woot woot!
Saturday - Pork burgers
