However, after much thought, I realized we really are all thankful every day, we're just announcing our thanks for only 30 days. But now I've got to get caught up since I'm 5 days behind!
I am thankful for...
Day 6
the fact my husband is allowed to use his company's vehicle for some of the trips he takes. It definitely minimizes the wear and tear on our personal vehicles and saves on our fuel bill.
Day 5
not having any food allergies or intolerances. My husband is lactose intolerant and many of my friends have gluten allergies. I am so grateful that I do not have to limit what I eat. I can't imagine a life without chocolate, milk, cheese or carbs!
Day 4
having such great "babysitting families!" In the past few years, I've met several families who have hired me to provide childcare. I don't consider babysitting for these families a "job." Instead, it's like a wonderful play time where I get to hang out and be a kid with other really great kids!
Day 3
my health. Although I have arthritis in my back which sometimes leaves me unable to walk very far or stand up in one place for very long, I am pretty much healthy. I thank God every day for my health.
Day 2
always being able to pay my bills. Between my husband's accounting skills, our serious budgeting and my working part time as a babysitter alongside both of our full time jobs, we've always been able to pay all of our bills. We pay every bill off in its entirety unless the original plan was to use financing promotions - 0% interest for 36 months, for instance.
Day 1
owning our own home at the age of 23. Most people at that age still haven't been able to even find a full time career/job yet! I'm very grateful my husband pushed so hard to be fiscally responsible early on and to cash in on the great housing market.
