Coupon Mama Massachusetts: HOOD® CREAM CHEF CREATIONS FOOD TRUCK COMES TO BOSTON

The Hood Cream Chef Creations Food Truck will be giving out free food samples this Saturday (8/17) and Sunday (8/18) at Fisherman’s Feast in the North End and in downtown Boston on Monday (8/19). Monday’s sampling opportunity will feature recipes and a visit by Chef Chris Coombs (Boston Chops, Deuxave, dbar).

The free samples featuring Hood Cream are part of a summer-long New England sampling tour to inspire consumers to submit their own creations for an online contest on Hood’s Facebook page and website. After the contest closes on September 4, one grand prize winner will be selected from a panel of local celebrity chef judges to win $2,500 and have their recipe on a Cream container.

The Hood Cream truck is coming back to Boston! On Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18 the truck will be offering free samples of clam chowder made with Hood Cream at The Fisherman’s Feast in the North End starting at noon. The Hood Cream truck will be at Government Center in downtown Boston on Monday, August 19, from noon to 2 p.m. sampling Crème Caramel with Peaches, an original recipe from Chef Chris Coombs (Boston Chops, Deuxave, dbar). Chef Chris Coombs will also be on-site to chat with visitors about his inspiration for the recipe and offer tips for using Hood Cream. Visitors to the truck will also receive Hood Cream coupons and recipe cards to be able to recreate this dish in the comfort of their homes.

At the truck visitors can also learn how to submit their own recipes to the “Chef Creations – Inspired by Hood Cream” recipe contest, which kicked off on Hood’s Facebook page on August 2 and runs until September 4. One finalist from each of the six New England states will be chosen, and from those finalists one grand prize winner will be selected by a judging panel including Chef Chris Coombs to receive $2,500 and have their original recipe featured on a Hood Cream container.
