The straps are very wide, so they don't cut into my shoulders. I actually wore my Comfort bra under a pretty bell sleeve dress that had see-through lace down the front. I'm a teacher so see-through lace is a no-no, but the dress was too pretty not to wear to work. The Comfort bra made it appear like I was wearing a tank top underneath my dress.
