BJs Coupon Policy

I love shopping for bulk items at BJs. Here's the lowdown on using coupons at BJs found on their website here and here. This information is valid as of 7/8/15.

Can I use coupons?

Absolutely! BJ's accepts all manufacturers' coupons - including the ones that come in your Sunday newspaper - giving you additional savings on top of our everyday low prices. Plus, we offer BJ's Members-only coupons throughout the year. After all, saving you money is what BJ's is all about.

You can get your exclusive BJ's coupons:

• Online. Members, you can access and print in-Club coupons once you register with an online account on BJs.com. Register by clicking on "Sign In/Register" at the top of any BJs.com page.
• In BJ's Journal, a BJ's Member magazine
• Through special-offer mailings
• In BJ's in-Club coupon flyers
• Via email. If you are registered on BJs.com, you can sign in to your online account, select "Email Subscribe/Unsubscribe" and then select "Subscribe me for all BJ's promotional emails" to receive BJ's emails and weekly updates on BJs.com Instant Coupons.

Please note: BJ's does not accept mobile coupons at this time.

What are the guidelines for using more than one coupon?

When purchasing a multi-pack of "individual for sale" packaged items, which is a set of items that could be sold individually (each item has a barcode) shrink-wrapped and sold together, shoppers can use multiple manufacturer's coupons and ONE BJ's coupon on it. The total value of the coupons cannot exceed the total retail value of the item.

Members may also use one BJ's coupon and one manufacturer's coupon on a single item.
All buy one, get one free (BOGO) offers will be honored for in stock items only for a maximum value that does not exceed BJ's retail. If the manufacturer's coupon does not state the maximum value, we cannot honor the coupon.
*BJ's cannot accept multiple BJ's-issued coupons on a product.
*All coupons must be presented within the valid begin/end date range shown on the coupon.  If the coupon is expired, it will not be accepted.
*BJ's does not accept mobile coupons at this time.

Free 60 day Membership to BJs

In 2013, consumers took advantage of $3.7 billion of coupon savings or $11.60 per person for the year according to the 2014 Inmar® Coupon Trends Report. September is National Coupon Month and BJ’s Wholesale Club, the only wholesale club to accept manufacturers’ coupons, reports that Members save roughly $75 per year using coupons. The coupon savings are on top of BJ’s everyday low prices for high quality, name brand essentials including paper towels, eggs, diapers, etc. Additionally, the Report shows the average face value of coupons redeemed is $1.27; in contrast, the average face value redeemed for a BJ’s coupon is $2.74 -- more than double the national average.

Not a Member? Consumers can sign up for a Free 60-day membership 

at www.bjs.com/savings and begin shopping online immediately with full member benefits. Once enrolled, shoppers are given a membership number and receive a membership card upon visiting the member services desk at their local BJ’s Club.  Shoppers can sign-up for the free 60-day membership through December 31.

To help Members save even more on essentials and special occasion items, BJ’s offers the following saving tips when using coupons:

·         BJ’s is the only wholesale club to accept all manufacturers’ coupons. Members may use one BJ’s coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon on a single item.

·         For manufacturer’s coupons that are ‘buy one, get one free,’ BJ’s will honor the coupon for items in stock as long as BJ’s price does not exceed the maximum value stated on the coupon. If the manufacturer’s coupon does not state the maximum value then BJ’s cannot honor the coupon.

Cake Boss Cakes now at BJs!

BJ’s Wholesale Club teamed up with Buddy Valastro – the “Cake Boss” and owner of famous Carlo's Bake Shop in Hoboken, N.J. — to carry three cakes that are available at all 195 BJ’s clubs in the 15 states where they are located. Valastro’s personal creations at BJ’s Fresh Bakery are called “Da Bomb,” a cake made with chocolate layers and caramel icing. He’s also created the “Badda Bloom,” a chocolate and vanilla layer cake with buttercream frosting and “It’s My Party” which are all currently $15.99 with a $4 BJ’s coupon through October 3 (regularly $19.99).

Valastro is a fourth generation baker born into a bakery business owned and operated by his parents. He was born in Hoboken and raised in an old fashioned Italian family. Officially a BJs Virgin No More!

I'm officially no longer a BJs virgin. Okay that sounded a bit... dirty... erhh... I'll take my mind out of the gutter now...

I wish I had taken a picture of my haul, but I had to put it all away before my husband saw the ton of stuff I bought. It wasn't an amazingly wonderful, coupon-filled haul, but I got some great deals, some of which made my jaw drop!

Bj's Wholesale Club Matchups

My husband and I just delved into the realm of warehouse shopping by purchasing a BJs Warehouse Club membership. Because a new store is opening up in our area, (Seekonk, MA), we were offered a discounted rate on membership.

We paid $40 for an inner circle membership (usually $50) and our membership was extended to 14 months (usually 12 months). If you live in the area and would like to buy a membership, feel free to sign up here. The offer expires the day before the Seekonk store opens.

I've never been a member of a warehouse store before so I did some research. Here's what I learned:

• BJ’s is the only wholesale club that lets you use coupons!
• AND, you can use one manufacturer coupon on each UPC barcode.
• So that means if you get 1 package of Ziploc bags that has 5 boxes in it, then you can use 5 Ziploc manufacturer coupons!
• In ADDITION to this, you can use ONE BJ’s store coupon for the set.
