Have some furry friends? Are they already costing you an arm and leg? Don't let a rabies shot cause you to lose another appendage!
The
Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association is putting on their annual
Rabies Clinics throughout Rhode Island. This is an incredibly low-cost way to get your furries' their rabies vaccines. The most expensive clinic is only $15 and most are around $10!
Please keep in mind that it is required by law that all cats, dogs and ferrets have an up-to-date rabies vaccine. If you're interested in learning more about Massachusetts rabies clinics, check out

Some important things to know about Rhode Island rabies clinics:
- Cash is the only accepted form of payment.
- To be eligible for a three year vaccine, owners must bring proof of prior vaccination and as far as I know, that previous vaccination cannot be expired (this is different from MA)
- You do not need to be a resident of the Town in which the clinic is being held in order to attend.
